With this addon, gone are the days of having little to no control over how your nameplates look or how they interact with your combat experiences in WoW.

Plater is a nameplate addon that happens to be making some big waves in the World of Warcraft community. The default Blizzard nameplates serve their purpose well enough, but for years people have been clamoring for more power. A nameplate's function is to visibly display the health, mana, status effects, and various other pieces of information outside of the target window. If you're missing nameplates for some inexplicable reason, try pressing your 'V' key to see if they turn on. See that health bar above its head? That's a nameplate. If you're in the dark about what a nameplate is, take a moment to engage an NPC in combat. Perhaps you're a user of Deadly Boss Mods?
